Anderson Account Activation & Laptop Configuration

As part of the on-boarding process, students are asked by UCLA Anderson Student Technology Services to complete an online Technology Orientation, which includes Anderson email and network accounts activation as well as laptop configuration. The same information below can be found on your admit checklist via the EMBA ACTION: SUMMER - Technology Orientation form.

Anderson Account Activation & Laptop Configuration

Please make sure to complete the account activation by August 1, 2022 in preparation for Leadership Foundations. Note: You will NOT be able to activate your account until you have completed your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR), or if you have completed your SIR within the last 3 weeks.

The online tech orientation will walk you through different activating computing accounts at UCLA Anderson and network account, including email, and configuring your laptop for school. Please reference the account activation/laptop instructions below. It will take approximately 30 minutes to complete the Tech Orientation and has no time limit.

  • Step 1: Review Laptop Requirements

Visit this page to ensure your laptop meets the hardware and software requirements for coursework: https://www.anderson.ucla.edu/information-and-technology/new-mba-student-information/

  • Step 2: Complete Online Technology Orientation

Log into the online technology orientation with your UCLA Logon credentials: https://bruinlearn.ucla.edu/enroll/8DLP77

  1. Review the acceptable use policy.
  2. Retrieve your Anderson Network account and get access to your official Anderson email. Please be advised, you will NOT be able to activate your account until you have completed your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR). If you have just accepted our offer of admission within the last week, you may need to wait potentially 2 weeks for your account creation information to be available.
  3. Configure your laptop so that it is ready for coursework.
