Internships
Our students are available for full time internships during the summer and part time internships during the academic year. They seek data-focused projects with real business applications.
Summer offer guidelines: For summer internship offers made before February 20th, MSBA requires a three-week period for students to consider and respond. For offers made after February 20th, we require a minimum of one week to respond.
Click to post an opportunity on the Anderson job board, and designate “MS Business Analytics” in the job audience field. You may also forward opportunities to our Director of Career Services who will ensure that the posting goes straight into students’ inboxes.
Full-time Roles
MSBA students graduate in mid-December. For international candidates, STEM visas allow for up to 36 months of employment before sponsorship is necessitated.
Full-time offer guidelines:
During academic year until October 15
Summer internships last until mid to late September. Therefore, any full time offers given during the above period must have a response deadline no shorter than either one week or October 15, whichever period is longer.
October 15 thru mid-December graduation
Full time offers tendered on or after October 15 must allow students a minimum of one full week to respond.

Applied Analytics Project (AAP)
Let a team of MSBA student consultants take on a big-data challenge in a 20-week project under the guidance of a faculty advisor. AAP begins in the summer with data collection and secondary research, then proceeds into full analysis in the fall, delivering formally reported results and recommendations.
