Parking & Directions
Guest parking is available in the underground Parking Structure 4 (P4) off of Sunset Blvd and Westwood Plaza. Pay Stations are located to the left after you pass the parking kiosk. Parking is $15 for the day. Please visit the UCLA Transportation Visitor Parking webpage for the most up to date information.
Driving Directions to UCLA Anderson
Northbound:
Take Interstate 405 (San Diego Freeway) north, and exit at Sunset Boulevard. Turn east (right) onto Sunset at the end of the off-ramp. Turn south (right) onto Westwood Plaza, and proceed straight down the ramp to the parking kiosk in Parking Structure 4.
Southbound:
Take Interstate 405 (San Diego Freeway) south, and exit at Sunset Boulevard. Turn left at the end of the off-ramp and turn east (left) onto Sunset. Turn south (right) onto Westwood Plaza, and proceed straight down the ramp to the kiosk in Parking Structure 4.
Parking:
UCLA parking pay stations give you short-term parking options in lots and structures located throughout campus. Self-service pay stations are located in all visitor parking areas. Visitors must pay for parking BEFORE they leave their vehicles. For more information on locations, rates, and hours of operation, refer to the UCLA Transportation Visitor Parking webpage. Pay station permits are not valid in parking stalls posted for Blue or X permits or otherwise reserved.
Transportation to UCLA from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
UBER or Lyft:
When ride-hailing from campus, make sure you're picked up at one of our designated pick-up zones and follow these safety tips. If you need a Lyft or Uber after arriving in LAX, be aware that ride-hailing companies can no longer pick up at the curb. You'll need to take a free shuttle to the new LAX-it pickup area and meet your driver there. You can still get dropped off at the curb when arriving at LAX for your departing flight.
Shuttle Service:
Airport shuttles such as Prime Time Shuttle are another option for a shared ride to LAX. Make sure to compare prices to find an affordable option that works for you. Allow at least one hour and 15 minutes to the UCLA campus from the airport.
Culver CityBus:
The most affordable way to get to LAX is by taking the Line 6 Culver CityBus. It has convenient stops on campus and in Westwood Village, and takes you to the Metro C Line (Green) Aviation Station where you can connect with a free shuttle to the airport. Get there faster with the Rapid 6 which arrives every 15 minutes during weekday morning and evening peak hours.
The LAX FlyAway service from Westwood has been discontinued.

Special Parking Needs
Disabled and mobility impaired only
Accessible parking is available for disabled and elderly persons near most venues in many parking structures and lots. All vehicles must have a UCLA parking permit and, if parking in areas reserved for disabled or elderly persons either a DMV handicapped plate or placard or a Center for Accessible Education identification card. Parking permits, which cost $12.00, are available through Transportation & Parking Services and the UCLA Central Ticket Office prior to Commencement and at Parking/Information Booths on the day of Commencement. The parking fee for vehicles displaying any state-issued handicap plate or placard is $8.
Drop-off spots
Drop-off spots may be even more accessible and much closer to many of the venues. Vehicles cannot park at drop-off spots longer than required to load or unload passengers. The Wilson Plaza drop off spot is near the entrance to Lot 4.
All Commencement venues are ADA-Compliant and wheelchair seating is available at all Commencement venues.
Alternate Driving Directions
From the Valley
If you are coming from west of the 405 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley, take the Sunset Blvd. exit from the southbound 405 Freeway and proceed east on Sunset Blvd. approximately two miles to Westwood Plaza (signal) and turn right. Continue south (straight) on Westwood plaza toward the parking structure. The road will dip down into Parking Lot 4, where attendants at the information kiosk will direct you where to park.
If you are coming from east of the 405 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley, proceed over the canyon via Beverly Glen Drive or Coldwater Canyon. This road connects Westwood from Ventura Blvd. and can be used as an alternate route if you are coming from Central Valley/Van Nuys/Studio City locations. Once on the other side of the hill crossing Mulholland Drive, continue driving southbound on either Beverly Glen or Coldwater Canyon to Sunset Blvd. Turn right onto Sunset driving westbound toward UCLA. Turn left at Westwood Plaza (signal) and proceed south (straight) toward the parking structure. The road will dip down into Parking Lot 4, where attendants at the information kiosk will direct you where to park.
From Beverly Hills
Proceed westbound on Wilshire Blvd. to Beverly Glen Drive. Turn right heading northbound on Beverly Glen. Turn left at Sunset Blvd. and continue driving westbound toward UCLA. Turn left at Westwood Plaza (signal) and proceed south (straight). The road will dip down into Parking Lot 4, where attendants at the information kiosk will direct you where to park.
From LAX/South Bay Communities
Take the Sunset Blvd. exit from the northbound 405 Freeway and proceed east on Sunset Blvd. approximately two miles to Westwood Plaza (signal) and turn right. Continue south (straight) on Westwood Plaza. The road will dip down into Parking Lot 4, where attendants at the information kiosk will direct you where to park.
From Santa Monica/Brentwood communities
Proceed eastbound on Wilshire Blvd. past the 405 Freeway. Turn left onto Veteran Ave., proceed north to Sunset Blvd., then turn right on Sunset. Continue east on Sunset Blvd. to Westwood Plaza (signal) and turn right. Continue south (straight) on Westwood Plaza. The road will dip down into Parking Lot 4, where attendants at the information kiosk will direct you where to park.
From West LA/West Hollywood communities
Proceed northbound on San Vicente or westbound on Santa Monica Blvd., which will connect to Wilshire Blvd. Continue westbound on Wilshire through Beverly Hills and turn left onto Veteran Ave. Proceed north to Sunset Blvd., then turn right on Sunset. Continue east on Sunset Blvd. to Westwood Plaza (signal) and turn right. Continue south (straight) on Westwood Plaza. The road will dip down into Parking Lot 4, where attendants at the information kiosk will direct you where to park.
From Century City/North Culver City communities
Drive westbound on Pico Blvd., Olympic Blvd. or National Blvd., turning right on Westwood Blvd. (northbound) After crossing Wilshire Blvd., turn right on Lindbrook Drive. Proceeding eastbound on Lindbrook, veer left, continuing northbound at the connecting corner of Hilgard Avenue. Drive northbound on Hilgard until you reach Sunset Blvd. Turn left, driving westbound toward UCLA. Turn left at Westwood Plaza (signal) and proceed south (straight). The road will dip down into Parking Lot 4, where attendants at the information kiosk will direct you where to park.
