Christina Green is the Associate Director of Budget and Finance and Program Director of the Housing as Health Care Initiative at the Richard S. Ziman Center for Real Estate at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Christina developed and launched the Housing as Health Care Initiative in 2018 to bring attention to critical issues at the intersection of housing, the built environment, and health. From housing affordability and well-building to community-based health care and climate change adaptation, Christina builds strategic partnerships across disciplines with the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health and UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs, industry and community leaders, policymakers, and students. The goal of this initiative is to convene thought leaders, develop community, increase understanding, and discuss solutions through seminars, symposia, and roundtable discussions. As part of this work, Christina is currently supporting the California Integrated Care at Home Working Group to develop and advance a transformative statewide housing-based population health care coordination system (modeled after Support and Services at Home®) for California’s growing vulnerable aging population.
Previously, Christina worked for health care and nonprofit organizations, including Pfizer, Health Technology Associates, Spinal Cord Injuries Australia, and Clean Up Australia, where she focused on cultivating meaningful partnerships across sectors to promote human health and well-being.
Christina has an MBA from Columbia Business School, an MPH from the Columbia Mailman School of Public Health, and a BA in the History of Science and Medicine from Yale College. She currently serves as a Member of the National Well Home Network’s (NWHN) Board of Directors; NWHN is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to foster housing-based service models across the country.
