Mr. DeVito joined the UCLA Anderson School of Management faculty upon his retirement as Global Chief Operating Officer of TCW Group Inc, an international asset management firm where assets grew to over $260 billion under management during his nearly 30-year career at the firm.  Mr.  DeVito also previously served as Global Chief Financial Officer and Global Chief Administrative Officer at TCW as well as served on various operating committees at the firm including as a member of the Executive Management Team, the Enterprise Risk Management Committee, Equity Trading Committee and the Pricing and Valuation Committee.  In addition, Mr. DeVito was also President and CEO of the TCW Mutual Funds and the TCW Strategic Income Fund (NYSE) and was a member of the Board of Directors of various domestic and international operating subsidiaries of the firm.

Mr. DeVito has experience in complex accounting and financial transactions as well mergers and acquisitions and corporate and board governance.  In addition, he continues to be active in numerous civic, educational and charitable organizations as both a Board Member and Investment/Finance Committee Chair.  He is an active equity investor in agricultural ranch, real estate and early-stage investment opportunities throughout the United States.  Mr. DeVito has also been a guest speaker at numerous investment and accounting conferences.
